Mattel are bringing out a 'Mindflex' game in which you control a floating ball with your mind. A headset measures the level of your concentration.. so cool, and pointless. 

Imagine where this could lead though.. I'm all about possiblities.

Pop go the days...

I love calendars, they make me graphically happy and remind me of how quickly a year passes all at one time.

This is my calendar for 2009, the perfect combination of Helvetica and the strangely fulfilling sound of the single 'pop' for each day pushes me into action.

Every day I have been reminded that the day goes by so fast 'pop' and I must not waste any time.

And it's beautiful...

WISDOM by Andrew Zuckerman (photography hero) was on the top of my Christmas wishlist - and it arrived early (via my wonderful husband)

It is a collection of the most awesome portraits and comments about wisdom from some of the finest people of a generation - to be featured in the book you had to be over 65. Once I saw it included not only the obvious - Nelson Mandela but also some personal heroes - Terrence Conran, Judi Dench, Richard Rogers, I knew i had to have it. Reading this book not only inspires me, but makes me feel good about getting older. And those of you who know me well know that Helvetica makes me grin! (It's beautifully designed like all of Zuckerman's stuff)
